35 b brass tag tractor

There is a 35 b brass tag on ebay and it is listed with F & H front wheels. I emailed the owner (he said that the F & G is a misprint)--should be F & H and he said they could be spread for straddling rows. Has anybody ever come across these before and what are they? What does F & H stand for ?

charlie,At least two of us in New York have '36 B's w/F&H adj. ft. wheeles, kind of look like they were off a farmall H, have clamps(3)and the tires are mounted on rims w/no centers. gwh

I can't remember what F&H stands for, but the rims are reversible. Just like the later JD stamped steel. One way they are close together, the other way they are spread apart. I have a friend that has them on an unstyled A.

I think F&H was a wheel manufacturer, and made a lot of the round spoke type wheels. Stood for "French and Hecht" or something like that. I believe they made round spokes for a lot of tractors, not just JD. I know they sure look good!

They made wheels for everything. Not just tractors. We have wagon gear, flare boxes and other stuff with F&H's. They also make non-spoked rims with solid centers.
