Is the tractor for parades, pulling, Expo restoration accuracy or an odd jobs/spare tractor for busy season? Firestone 23 degree 15.5x38's on 16" rims will have a fierce grip. May as well set the tires/rims right to the end of the axle for stability and protection of shed doors.

Mr. ONeal-----

Rear tire options for 70 RC were 12x38 and 13x38. My latter day parts list shows p/n A4811R for use with 12 tires and p/n R31490R for 13 tires. The last number is a supercede for p/n F1480R. Im not sure what the width measurements for these are. 10 and 11 inch rims seem a bit tight for 12 and 13 inch tires, respectively. I wonder if the 10 rim might have originated from a 60 or such.

I have two books, one says the 70 came with 12x38 and the other says they had 13x38 tires. Most folks use 13.6x38 as the smallest on new tire replacements so even the 11 may be to small. What I am trying to say is "I don't know".
