Does anyone have any thoughts or stories or just general information on the 6030?

Neigbhor has one that dynoed out at 230 PTO hp. 7,000 hrs and 2 rear ends later and it is still going strong. Haven't touched the engine yet. The tractor replaced a D7 Cat. They were pulling 37ft chisel but now they have knocked the plow back down to 32ft. Tires are nearly wore off too. They also used it on a forage harvester back when they had a feedlot.

I drove a 6030, for a neighbor of mine, a couple of years back in the late eighteys. I was a '77 model with the two post canopy. I loved it! The first time I layed eyes on the tractor, I was hooked.

I pulled a 6-row disk over cotton stalks and never loaded the engine. I also re-bedded and hipped ground with 6-row disk hippers. The tractor was a hoot to drive. The clutch was he!!, and it would cover me up in old stalks, but I loved it.

That tractor never broke down while I was around it, so daily and yearly maintenance was the only wrenching I ever did on a 6030.

I will own one someday. I don't know what I'll use it for, but I'll have one.
