After doing everything trying to get my Late model 3020 with a newly rebuilt Injector pump to crank, I removed the solenoid, and sure enough, they didn't replace it. It was stuck closed, and that is why I couldn't crank. After freeing it up, she started up like always, but it won't swich off. I cut the fuel off at the tank to stop it. The pump is the old style . John Deere no longer has them. Any suggestions? Thanks,Barney

Barney, Parts for the "C" pump are limited, but the solenoid for it was still available last time I needed one. I did have to get it through a pump repair shop though. Go back and give them he11, they can get that part for you if they are a Standyne dealer / repair station. Good Luck Dave W.

Thanks Dave: I went back and they gave me an after market switch,( For $69.00 of course!) I'm going to see if I can try some new springs in the old JD switch. I'll post to let you know how that works. I'm going to experiment with a longer spring, because I think mine has became weak and will not push the plunger closed. That's what I think anyway. I'll let you know how I come out. Thanks Again; Barney
