First 8450 4WD??

What extra value would the 8450 with serial number 001000 have? It is in pretty good condition and is used for general tillage.

It being the first probably isn't going to have much if any effect on value. Although 8450s are excellent tractors (my grandpa and uncle own one that I have operated quite a bit), they're not exactly collector's items, and I don't foresee the day when you see guys trailering them to shows. Actually, since it's the first one, it's also the oldest, which is probably going to hurt it's value compared to the later models. My advice would be to hold onto it and maintain it well, and perhaps someday there will be a good market for it. If not, you'll still have a good working tractor, and an interesting conversation piece, as not too many guys can claim to own the first one of any particular model.
