Thank you guys for the input on a refief valve for my project. Can you buy independent relief valves from anwhere? Do you think Tractor Supply might have them? If anyone knows of somewhere that sells tack-on relief valves Id love to know where that is! Thank you so much! Have a great day!

I found the valve I am looking at, at northerntool.com and it does have a relief valve built in. Thanks again. -Tye

I read your other posts. Before going any further I would check into the pump that you are going to mount on the pto. It just may have a relief valve internally to it. It would be hard for me to envision manufacturers putting a pump on the marker that would self destruct because someone overloaded it.

The old Farmhand F-11 loader had a set up as what I think he wants. That pump did not have a releif valve in the pump, it had the releif valve in the control valves. We replaced the front mounted pump on our 430C last year. John Deere no longer makes this pump, but RENCO in LaCross Wi got us a look alike with the same specs as the J.D. pump. Again no relief valve in the pump. Is there such a thing?

That's a good point MIKE. Most OEM type pumps do not have a relief valve in them. It is in the Control valve.

Look up in the yellow pages in the nearest big city phone book under Hydraulics and see if you have a supply store near by. We have a good one in LaCrosse Wi (pop 50,000) that we work with. and there is a another one in Winona Mn. The valves I told you about in your early post can also be had through VAUL-BILT in Des Moines Ia 1-888-828-3276.
