I want to buy my dad some stuff for his 1954 model 70 LP but need to know if it's a 12 volt or 6 volt system. How can I tell besides looking at the battery?

All I ever seen were 12, they would be tough to crank at 6. Its pretty simple to just look at the battery(s). However, if youre gonna buy anything like a radio for example, unless that tractor has been converted, its a POSITIVE ground system. So be sure anything you buy will work with a positive ground tractor. A gift like that would warm the heart of any tractor loving dad for sure. Best Wishes, John T
