Does anyone know where you can buy a shock absorber for a 20-30 series 2 cylinder float ride seat? John Deere shows one for $71.00 but thought there might be a better way. Thanks for the help.

I bought mine for a 2010 seat which slides up and down at a 45 degree angle and has the spring and shock on it ( NOT THE SAME FLOAT RIDE AS YOURS ) from the dealer and it was a GABRIEL shock. Gabriel part # AR27572. This may steer you in the right direction. Let me know if you find it as I also have a 630 that will need one.

I took the Gabrial shock to Farm and Fleet and the counter man was able to take the size and dimensions and match it to a shock they carried for about 15.00. Good luck
