My 4010 has a terbo on it.
Two people have told me two different HP ratings for it.
One at 95 HP and the other at 100 HP.
Dose any one realy know what this 4010D terbo is powered at? All I have been able to find out is that it did NOT come from the factory that way.

Jim

My brother and I each have 4010's with m&w turbochargers. They each have the m&w seven bladed fan and shroud, and the large aluminum oil pan. If you plan on working this tractor really hard you'll need these parts to keep the oil cool enough so you don't score a piston. As far as HP ' each tractor has the bigger sleeves & pistons like a 4020 His tractor has 18.4x34 tires & heavy cast wheels. The fuel delivery is set to produce 120+ HP, and has ran this way for over 8000hrs. Mine has 15.5x38s on light cast wheels, is set at 110HP. This too much power for the small tire-light wheel combination. This one has about 4000hrs on it's s&p. If you keep the oil cool, they will run practically forever at 120-140 % of ratrd HP. Sorry for the long post.

I got 0.8 hrs. on a complete rebuild. Got standard sleeves & pistons. The turbocharger is a "RayJay" Md.# 370E80 out of Long Beach, CA. The oil comes off the eng. through a spin on filter to the turbo and back to the eng. The old pistons had no aperant scorring. I lost a rod bearing last year, that was the why for on the rebuild. The tires are 18.4-34 on 16s the are also loaded. My eng man said the fuel was set for 10% over standard for the turbo. That would be about 92 to 93 HP. The eng. has always run very cool, just inside the normal range.
