I bought a 60 with a power steering system on it. The make is Behlen. It seems to function well but leaks. The leak is coming from what looks to be the pump where I guess the distributor and pump meet. I have a bid on an I&T shop service manual but do not have it yet so I am a bit unsure about specifics. I'm sure it will not have this steering unit discussed anyway. Also, there is a tube that originates from around the combustion chamber that at times gives off a fair amount of blue/gray smoke. It seemed to be most noticable after running a while "still". 3 questions. #1 is the manual a good one?
#2 point me in a direction to solve the leak?
#3 smoke is a concern?
Some of these questions may seem stupid but I'm very very new to this and have only some mechanical experience. Help would be appreciated. Thanx, Eric

The I&T manual won't have anything on the behlen ps, Behlen manufacturing is located in Columbus Nebraska and never did hear if any parts are still available through them or not. I did hear once that the IH tractors used these on their factory equipped power steering models like 300'350'400'450 so you might try on the IH board or your local IH dealership goodluck chris
