Does anyone have experience planting common bermuda with a seed drill. We are having trouble controlling depth with clover seed and are told bermuda is so small that you can't control the rate.

Also, in need of the original placards for application rates and service manuals for this drill. Referrals to a place to buy these would be appreciated. thanks. -ken

Ken; we had a Model B (I think) back in the 50s-60s..... galvanized box, single disk openers????. Some of the later drills had a small seed attachment, but I doubt if you could find one for this drill, even if one was ever offered for it. Don't think you'll ever be satisified with results seeding tiny seed in regular drill. Have had good luck with "cyclone type" 3-point hitch seeder, as Gary in TX suggested.

Hey Ken,
I planted some bermuda for a guy few years ago and I had to use a cone shaped spreader on my 3pt. I also had to mix the seed with corn meal I think if I remember right to give the seed some size so to speak. Its a very small seed as you probably allready know and does need some thing to help prevent overseeding. I think I would recommend sprigging before seeding though.
