Bought a piece of property 6 years ago and this old machine came with it. Pretty rusty, but otherwise looks OK. I'm going to grub her out of the mud and bring he up to the shop. Does anybody know what it looked like when it was new, or can refer me to a picture of it in color? Did it have decals on it? IF so, where and of what type?

Virtually all of the spreader is covered in rust, but nothing is rusted through. The front, interestingly, is a galvanized sheet that looks nearly as good as new. This is the part with the seat and is stamped "MODEL K SERIES 47."

Any info regarding this piece of equipment would be appreciated.

I need the conveyor drive parts for a JD Model K Series 47 spreader, specifically the main sprocket and catch levers, but I'd be interested in any other parts anyone wants to unload.

Any suggestions on where I might find parts for this old machine would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks, Tony
