I have looked on E-Bay and in the classifieds on this site and have not been able to locate any of these manuals. I prefer original ones if possible. My son, grandsons & I will be restoring a 1944 "A" with single front wheel.
Let me know if you have any of these manuals available. Thank you.

Steven, To the best of my knowledge a service manual for the styled A is not avaiable from John Deere(wished it was), what is out there is an"I&T" manual for the styled letter series tractors. John Deere has service manuals for the styled B and the model 60 and you will have to read in between the lines on some things. The I&T manuals can be obtained thru aftermarket suppliers. John Deere still has the parts and operators manuals and these are of great help. gwh

I bought a shop manual from John Deere that actually is a shop manual but is for a B. I can't remember right off but think the manual number is an SM2004 or some such number. Very much more detailed than the I & T and would basically apply to the A as well. Book is almost 2"thick.

I know what your talking about. I bought a service manual for my 620 from John Deere. It's the same as a 60. I got a I&T for it. It works much better for me.
