I am looking at a 3020 and it seems a little large for me, I would like something with a little lower center of gravity. The 2520 is the next size down but without seeing them side by side I can't really compare physical size. I see that there is a little difference in HP and maybe 300-400 lbs in weight. I have not been able to look at a 2520 as the closest one I have found is a couple hours away. Is the 2520 smaller (shorter, lower, etc) than the 3020?

Both are 4 cylinder tractors, both are the same size. But that's were the similarities end,3020 has narrow power band,if you lug the engine down below 1850rpm's you need to shift or you keep losing power.A 2520 has a broader power band and will lug down to 1500rpm's and come back{like 4020}.
In general the 2520 is more responsive but not as economical on fuel as 3020.
If you want to see a couple of 2520's go to TRACTOR PHOTO'S.

I've driven both. I'd have to say that size wise they are about the same, with the 3020 having a few more horses. Like the other fella said 2520s are rarer and starting to be more sought after consequently driving the price up. You said you were looking for something a little smaller in stature. I'd look at the 1020, 1520, 2020 series.HJ

From what I heard, a 2510/2520 is a 3020 with a 2020 engine so I don't think there would be much difference in size.
