Dave;thought I would set this up under a different post just to keep things confusing. I often wondered where Deere recruited people from and it's good to know they get some folks in that have had some (!) first hand experience in the field. As far as the IVT goes I brought home a CD from the shop that one of the salesmen gave me It was quite informative as to how this system works..actually seems fairly simple. I hope this remains true. A couple of dealers from my part of the world (south-central Ontario,Canada) had some of these tractors out a year ago to test market especially since they have a lot of new farmers from Europe as customers. These people have had exposure to machines such as the Fendt which I believe Deere is up against with this type of transmission. I am looking forward to the schools for the twenty series that will be mainly intro's but will be followed up by diagnostic schools.. maybe they will let you come up to the Grimsby branch to teach! More first hand experience to be hearing from. I had better get out of here as this board really might not be the place for this..we do I think share an interest in JD history of which (believe it or not) we are a part of.
