I just want to say a word of thanks to Clooney and John T. I was thinking this morning how much I've learned from both of your posts, sometimes in response to questions I've asked but more often from responses you've given to others that I dug out of the archives when I was faced with a problem. Not that there aren't plenty of other helpful folks on the board, but I can't think of anyone else who knows SO much and is SO willing to spend his valuable time answering questions here. Until I had the good sense to get a JD a few years back, I spent a lot of time on the 8n-9n-2n board. There were a couple of guys over there, too, who seemed to know everything and were willing to take the time to share what they knew (llamas and tOTG, for any here who might cross-pollinate over there). Eventually, due to both time constraints and to some nastiness that happened over there, both more-or-less stopped posting. While there are lots of other good folks over there, too, it was a real loss. You don't miss the water till the well runs dry, I guess. I'm mighty lucky that didn't happen with Clooney and John before I got here!

Let me also take the time to thank Clooney and John as well as the other folks on the board who have been kind enough to offer advice to me. I consider people like Clooney to be rare gems indeed.

I would like to second this- I now find myself saying things like 'a pencil-sized stream of fuel flowing' to people I am helping around here...
What a great resource you have been and I am grateful for your willingness to help others.

Bob, you're sure welcome. When I was younger, there were many friends, relatives and strangers who helped me out, which is I why I enjoy helping others whenever I can now in return. I enjoy the hobby and give tractor electrical seminars occassionally (Gathering of the Green and Expo) plus write for Green Magazine approximately every other month. Unfortunatley, its mostly electrical where I can provide some assistance, but am glad to contribute other areas where I can and have also benefited greatly from the Clooney man and many others on this forum which I also appreciate.
