That's a good one, but if you're going to chase us, take off slow with that 8n since they like to flip over backwards due to being too darn short!

Awww, someone is upset cause dorF tractors ain't worth the harrassability. Red and Green make such a festive rivalry that nobody wants to be blue.

I have an 8N and a B John Deere. I am very happy with both tractors. They each have their good points and bad points. Dad farmed mostly with John Deere two cylinder tractors when I was growing up. I still like the sound of a two cylinder John Deere!

It's even funnier that a Ford guy feels the need to come on a Deere board and threaten us if we decide to post on the Ford board. These are discussion boards, and this is a free country, which I happen to think is just fine. As long as the discussions are kept halfway civilized, I don't see a problem with anybody of one "faith" posting on another board. It breaks up a lot of the monotony of "my brand is the best with no exceptions". We all know each brand has it's pros and cons. True old tractor fans have appreciation and respect for all colors, even if they do have a personal favorite. As for your 8N driving over a Deere, I hope the parts support at your local Case-New Holland dealership is good, so you can replace the parts you break in the attempt. I worked for a New Holland dealership for a couple years, and worked on several 8N, 9Ns, an 801, a 600 and the like. They appear to make excellent garden tractors, or transportation for older gentlement that can no longer drive cars. Don't get too worked up -I'm just having fun with ya, and this is the Deere board after all..... ...
