650 JD compact diesel fuel system

Was mowing grass today with my 650, and when I started mowing sideways on a slight slope the engine fluttered and stalled out, acted and sounded like it was out of fuel, or had stopped up filters (changed the filter last week for the church hay ride for preventive maintence). Got wife to pull it into shop and took out the filter and it did have water, guess from the rain last week,changed the filter and went to bleed it at the pump, and it will not pump,fuel, but has a milky looking watery stuff coming out of the line when I loosened it at the injector, took line loose at pump also, and got the same stuff out of lines, put the line back to the pump,with clear fuel coming to it and now it doesn't pump out the line to the injectors. Does any one know if this Yanmar 2 cylinder plunger type pump has an internal screen that can be cleaned or what? Gene Davis

Gene,
I have had the same problem.. not good about the water.. My 650 ran some water through the pump. I'm looking at a $700-$800 bill to get it out of the implement dealer with rebuilt pump.
