I have an 830 Utility with a three cylinder diesel in it. The hydraulic pump is shot and cost 1200 to replace with retro fit from John Deere. What is this ractor worth repaired? What would it be worth parted out? I am into older tractors and this is really to new for me. Thanks for any advice on the pros and cons.

There's other places you can buy hydraulic pumps,
John Deere didn't make that one.Probably $400 to
$500 is more in line for a new pump.Their probably
figuring high priced labor into that.
