2510 gas running bad

my 2310 will not run unless the choke is half way on. I rebuilt the fuel pump. the fuel pump has a sediment bulb on it and will not fill up. is this normal? put a carb kit in and that did not help with the half on choke either. Where is the bleeder screw is for the steering column?

Did you change the fuel filter? check for water in your gas? ...or may have a giant bug in your gas tank.

I would have to agree, check the filters, fuel line and if possible flush out the tank. I have a 3020 diesel that I had similar problems with that it would run fine idling but when I had the rpm's up it would run the filters out of fuel, turned out to be the inline filter I had in it between the fuel pump and the tank. Felt pretty stupid for not checkingit first but now I know, its all a learning experience.
