Im bringing howe a 39b with a wico mag and i dont have my shop finished yet so itll have to sit outside for about 2 weeks. I also know that tractors with magnetos just love to run with moisture in them. what is the best thing to do cover it with a tarp or just cover the magneto. I have other two cylinders but they have dist. Thanks

Chris, If you are concerned about the mag its easy enough to remove it (2 bolts) and re-install it when your ready to move the tractor. I scribe a mark on both the mag and housing so I dont have to set the timing on installation. A cardboard cover over the mag hole is good to keep out moisture and critters.

I would cover the whole tractor. Even when covering the mag with a plastic bag water can occur with temperature changes and seep into the mag.
