I was reading the forum tonight for any ideas on how to get the bolts out of my H's head. I just took the manifold off bc it had holes in it and they just broke off. So if someone can tell me the little secret of getting them out that would be great. Also i need a manifold for my H. So can someone help me out.

Justin, My favorite method is the heat-cool-shrink process whereby you heat up the stud ONLY.....not the surrounding area.... to a red hot condition and it expands and crushes the rust. When it cools, it shrinks back farther than it was originally by an infintisimal amount, but sometimes it's JUST ENOUGH to get it loose. When studs are broken off flush with the surface I just set a hex nut over them and weld it up good and proper. Then I GO AWAY and come back hours later and unscrew the stud out. I used to have a five-gallon bucket of "trophy" bolts that I had removed this way, but after a string of fifty or so victories I lost interest in keeping track and dumped out the bucket.
