Marlins or Rennaissance one make 6-1/4" pistons for the R. Once you bore it that far, it's useless there after unless you can sleeve it. Your best bet is to get a set out of a 730. 830/820 will work but I think you will get a little bit more compression with the 730 pistons. I have heard that the 830 pistons have valve reliefs in them which makes their compression a little lower. If you're going all out, get the 6-1/4" pistons and cam from Marlins @ 2Cyl. Plus. Get 13mm pumps put on your pump bridge, 830 injector lines, and 830 injectors. Finish it off with a good high flowing air filter. I would probably go with Albert at Rennaissance for the pump and injector work. Another member on here didn't have much luck with his R pumps at Marlins.

Why would you want to go that much unless you just want to,as the more you bore out the closer to the end of the block life is . Also the heat buildup from a thin wall is something to ? also. My 2 cents worth.

yes, you can go that far. I saw an R on ebay that had it done. I don't know if it's still there or not but you could check.
