Seems I have an exhaust leak after completing most of my restorations.. Kinda looks bad with black soot on the newly painted upper water pipe..!! On my 36A just completed, I installed a new pipe and made sure I added the gasket between the pipe and manifold.. Still leaks. Before I jump into fixing the problem, what is the best way to insure it will not leak.. Any "goo" other then JB Weld that would hold up to the high temp..?? Thanks..

Clyde, some of the replacement pipes aren't bent correctly & don't mate to the manifold correctly.
~If that is ok then you can use 2 gaskets or purchase an exhaust sealer from the auto parts store. Put the sealer on both side of the gasket at installation. Exhaust sealer is designed to work & hold up to heat, but it is a bit messy..
