How is the oil getting into the transmission case and what needs to be done to correct this problem?

Thanks,

Farmer Jack, Chuck gave you some good information. Be careful when you drive the new seals in that you don't cover the oil return hole, if that happens the new seals won't be able to hold the oil back.....

sounds like the right main seal(double seal is bad), might want to check for excessive wear on main bearing also. To replace seal you will need to remove clutch assy and reduction gear housing, remove the pto drive gear then you can remove the right main, double seal is in the housing. This is a heavy job if you've never been into one.
