Is a 2510 supposed to have Catagory 1 or Catagory 2 hitch? I thought they were three plow tractors so I would assume Catagory 2.
I just saw one with Catagory 1 lift arms and the top link had a smaller pin attachment to tractor and a Catagory 1 ball. It appears to be factory not aftermarket.
Had never seen one optioned like this one, is it odd or just another option.

The 2510 and several other new generation tractors had reversible sway blocks to change from Cat. 1 to Cat. 2 or Cat.2 to Cat. 3. We would sometimes change the sway blocks on a 2510 we had from Cat. 2 to Cat. 1 and use the bushings to mount different things on it. Owners manuals for these tractors explains this.

The lift arms have catagory 1 size holes, not 2 and use bushings. As I stated lift links are catagory 1, and the attatching bracket on the trans cover is catagory 1 for a top link that has catagory 1 hole in it. Doesn't show in parts book, only hi crop has catagory 1 lift arms. Any ideas?

My 2520 has a cat 2 hitch same as the 3020. I always figured the 2510 and 2520 were the same hitch.

Does it have the adjustable, two position sway blocks? I always understood that the 2510 had the same 3ph parts as the 3020. The 3020 had sway blocks which , depending on how mounted would space the lower draft arms for either cat 1 or cat 2. With cat 1, you also needed the bushings because of the smaller diameter attaching points.

The sway blocks art reversible but the odd thing is the hitch is catagory 1 on a catagory 2 tractor.
