70 Diesel front weights

I have a set of front weights to mount on my 70 Diesel. The part numbers are A5347R and A5346R. They do not meet in front. Am I missing another weight or is this the way they were meant to be.

JD made two unique sets of 2 piece front weight sets for the 50, 60, 70 series. There is a set that will only fit the 50 and then the set you have that will fit only the 60 and 70. They are 2 piece sets only.
Then when the 20 series of tractors came out JD offered a three,piece set that would fit all models 50, 520, 530,60, 620, 630, 70, 720, 720, & 730. Two more front pieces could be added to this set as well.

Rich..... ..according to the parts manual there are only two front weights for the 70 diesel. It lists the two part numbers you have.
