Developed some serious leaks in the gaskets on the trans. and belt pulley cover, so ordered both gaskets. Took off the belt pulley cover, then took off the 7 cap screws and 2 dowel cap screws for the cover. It says in the manual" slip cover free"...Don't know whether it is corrosion or what, but that thing is not moving!!! Also, the cover has the pto going through it and I wonder if I do get it free, will it clear the hydraulic case which seems to come down over it....don't want to force anything I shouldn't...thanks as always...Jerry

Try light tapping with a sharp metal pick and a hammer. I use that method to get off things like covers and stuff.
