47 b with a rattle

am new to the two cyl's.but i think its rod bearings.already adjucted mains but i didnt know it they are shim adjusted or are they non-ajusted incerted bearings?now it doesnt knock but boes have a rattle about 1/2 throttle no load.any help or ideas will be great.

The rod bearings are shim adjusted....

I'd think that it may be wristpins...

Some noise is to be expected, afterall the parts are large in a 2-Cylinder..!! Listen to it once it has reached full operating temp, and the noise may be much reduced... Tappet noise can be a little loud and uneaven, if the rocker arms werent re-conditioned, and the valves were adjusted with worn rockers.. Then, it might be governor noise, too..... Hope this helps..!! Ron.

thanks for that.will get some plasiguage and try to adjust some rods. might be wristpins but they almost rattle all the time dont they.didnt give alot for this tractor and all of the equip.will try the rod adjust first if this dosent get rid of this noise any other easy fixes before we start big repairs?
