My name is josh and I live in Iowa. I'm looking for a 1944 John Deere model B Serial #162407. This is the first tractor my grandpa bought new and my dad and I would like to find it. Gramps kept the papers saying that he had ordered it and the bank note saying that he borrowed the money and paid it off. It was bought from a John Deere dealer named Barker Implement, at the time located in Lenox, Iowa. We would greatly appreciate any help, directions, or info. Thank you!!!!! !!

I�m too far away to be of any direct help, but it would help those nearer you to know when and where your old �B� left your family. If you know of any whereabouts after it left, that would be helpful. The more recent the information, the better.

I�m looking for a �48 �B� that was my Dad�s. It�s tough. But people find them everyday. Keep pluggin!! Good Luck.
