Hi, I have posted a few times about my 730diesel losing oil into the transmission. I am sure that the oil is going through on the right side of the tractor and im sure it is The PTo seal that is bad cause when i use the pto the oil level drops really fast. My question is what all has to come off to fix that seal? Thanks Aaron

Aaron, are you just talking about the PTO oil level dropping or the engine oil also? If just PTO oil then the PTO input shaft seal(s) are probably leaking & the back of the tractor will have to come off.
~If you are also losing engine oil then you probably have a leaking R/H crankshaft seal. To replace that, the clutch, 1st reduction cover, PTO idler gear, PTO drive gear, R/H brake, 1st reduction gear will have to come off & the seal pulled with a dent puller or the R/H main bearing housing will also have to be removed.

Clooney, The motor oil is dropping. The oil in the pto housing is fine. Also what is a Dent Puller?

Thanks Aaron

Aaron, a dent puller is basically a slide hammer with a sheetmetal screw on the end of it. You screw the dent puller screw into the seal & use the slide hammer to hopefully pull the seal out of the housing. ~You will also need a BIG long gear puller to get the PTO drive gear off the crank. That gear is pressed on with a lot of force.
~If you don't already have one I would suggest a Deere repair manual, or an I&T JD-201 book. If you aren't familiar with that seal replacement it is easy to damage expensive parts during the removal process.....
