When rebuilding the carb can you get a new cap that is on the bottom of the throttle plate rod? One was not included in the rebuild kit so i was just wondering. Or is there a way to get it out in order to reuse it? Thank you very much and hope everyone has a great week.

Kris, They are availble at your JD dealer. They are not part of the kit. I replace them on a regular basis when replacing throttle shaft bushings.

I am using a parts washer and a little elbow grease mixed with TLC. So far that has worked for me. Remember don't rush, you will pay later.
