anyone know the availability,condition,price of a clutch cover plate for a 630 jd.the flange on mine is rusted & worn to the extent that it keeps working off. thanks

I bought one from the local dealer about 2yrs ago,34.00,, I lost it about a week later, found it later was run over,I beat it back to almost the correct shape and install it back on the tractor and it hasn"t fallen off any more

The relieved area is to provide clearance for the clutch bolts, the clips go on to the full height flange.

I haven't ever ordered from either so I don't know about either one. Get new spring clips from John Deere- about $1 each. That may make your old one stay on, it fixed mine. Mike
