~Due to the many many E-Mails I get each day & the fact they sometimes accumulate before I can get to them, without a year & model, or reference to the original post, I have a hard time answering.

I have a 1958 520 (Gas) with PS, dual hyd..
While running wide open, the speed control lever will close about 1/2 way. Any ideas?.

Mike, probably the friction washers between the hand lever & speed control plate are worn out or deteriorated, or the tension spring is not tight enough. My money is on the friction disks being bad....
