Another 45 loader question...

I need to replace the top pivot points on this loader, and of course they are NLA. They consist of an open ended cylinder (like a piece of pipe), 1 1/8"od , 3/4" id, and about 3 1/4" L. I figured I'd have to go find a shop with a lathe to turn two out for me, but then it hit me....

Could I use a couple of worn out wrist pins ? They'd be the toughest pivot material you could find.

Anyone know which 2 cylinder wrist pins would be 1 1/8" od (the dimension I want to hold) and no smaller than 3/4" id (a little larger would be fine to clear the through bolt), and 3" minimum in length ? I don't have any specs handy or I'd look it up myself. I'm guessing an "A" or "B". Or any other engine that I might find some junkers from. Maybe a 3010/20,4010/20 ? I'd use the ones from the 70D, but they're 2.355".

Open to any suggestions.

Thanks for helping with my crazy idea.

We have had good luck using old cylinder rods as they are chrome plated. They seem to last a long time in a track loader.
