Some of these were made by ARPS for Farmall- I believe the model C. GM had an article on a set someone had modified and put on a JD in one of their issues a while back.

Yes! An "M", as I recall. Over the years I've also seen a couple of Ford "N"'s and a Farmall Super C with them on. I saw a set in good shape with mountings for a Ford "N" sell last spring for a couple of hundred dollars.

These are an item that you used to see advertised in magazines like "Popular Mechanics" in the '50's----- right along side the kits to mount a plow on an Army Jeep, unassembled Army surplus motorcycles and bags of "genuine" Confederate money!!

I really don't know how well they worked. Certainly never caught on in a big way.

Yes, at the National John Deere Two-cylinder show in Fairview, OK, just this past July. I don't remember what model it was on but it was not a rare model. I visited with the guy but don't remember much about them, except that they were new when he acquired them, which was not long ago. Pretty neat item. Also, I remember when I was very young (probably about 50 years ago) I saw a set of these tracks on a small Ford tractor, probably an 8N, at our local Ford dealer.
