This is just for some hummor while I decide what to do with this tractor. What a prize here 730 D with new 50.00 paint job fresh out of Mexico, yellow with brush, (has rare yellow flywheel), 5 or 6 more coats may have stuck it to the crank better and filled the splines after running out of 6 penny nails to drive in the splines,(flywheel splines are 90% gone), tighten big nut with big hammer and chisel, not worry about wobble as banging on cast housing keep it from getting to far out of line. Timming ? it can find its own as it runs back and forth on the splines, or the 5% of what is left. Wire on flywheel cover to hide broken flywheel, darn now that covers up the great looking yellow flywheel! Hole in intake hose, tape will fix, later another hole in tape, more tape again another hole in tape, sol-right paint will fix and cover that.
Factory square tube wide front,(looks like front asisit with the World War II jeep tires on)(your tax dollars came back home) thoughrly tested and and repaired, who needs inside wheel bearing in right wheel, outside one keep wheel from coming off. New type cusion ride seat, one side comes loose, sol-right, pretend always on hillside and keep going. Who needs big steering wheel with PS? Homemade 12" iron steering wheel work just fine.
Trans only works on the right side, Ok who wants low and slow gears anyway, no reverse, solition, decide what 3 point equipment you want to use the tractor for and just leave it on and never park any where you need to back up, you know like the shed. Now with 3 point attached who needs drawbar? make good hitch for chevy.
Rims rusting out at beads, tac weld metal strips over holes where tire shows, then paint tire black where catch on fire, hardly shows now.
Battery cables bad, wrap with rags, used up tape on air intake hose. Better make a Part 2 out of this.
My buddy ( and I use that phrase loosely) in his horse trading came up with this tractor and offered it to me for 500.00,told him it was a long way from looking like a US D. Then after showing him what all was wrong today he said call the junk man or you can just have it, now I hate to see any tractor go to the scrap yard so guess we will see what all (or I should say how many $)
Hope you may have gotten a laugh or 2 out of this post, it is all true. Watch for part 2 as I dig deeper.

If ever a tractor needed some TLC, that one does. You have 2 choices; fix it, or shoot it and put it out of it's misery. Have you found any GOOD parts on it yet?
