I have an unstyled B that has crankshaft wear at the driven disk. Four of the six splines are worn on the clockwise side two are in worse shape. I have a .90 over disk from Denglers, and that is the approximate amount to wear on the good splines. I the easiest fix would be to grind the worn part of the splines flat, and rework the two bad splines, but this would place my disk alignment marks off a small amount (.45). Do you feel that small misalignment would cause vibration of the type caused by a disk that has been placed incorrectly (marks misaligned) on the shaft? I am repairing the crank in the tractor.

Sorry, typed measurements in wrong! Disk is .090, making the disk .045 from alignment.

Scott, the drive disk being off 1/2" or so probably won't be any worse than the different weight of the replacement driver or the run out you will probably encounter by repairing the crank in the tractor.
~If you encounter a vibration when done you can always add or remove weight from the driver until it feels better, [use stick on wheel weights to find the light spot as they can be peeled off & moved & you can thread the original drilled balancing holes & add set screws to add weight to that area if needed].
