You should be able to get a 4020 diesel with wide front for that or maybe less if you shopped around. I jsut got a 65 model 4020 with a 48 loader(bucket and bale spear) for 9500.
Shop around!

WAAAAYYYYY too much! ...but somebody will pay it, that's why we quit adding Deere to our collection. I love Deere's, grew up on 'em, own 'em, show 'em and pull 'em, but after realizing that we have a nice Super C, Super H, and Super M with less in them combined than we do in the 70 gas, we became "color blind" (and we do just as well at the pulls now too!) I would guess that that 720 should be worth about the same as a Farmall 450 in theory, but in reality, it'll get that 7000k. Maybe if we all stopped buying them for a year...Pete

Depends on how much you want a 720. I'd give that amount if I ever found Dad's 730...

It's high, but probably depends on your part of the country, what kind of shape it's in, and how badly you want a 720.

There's nothing like the sound of a 720/730 Diesel being worked!

Enjoy,

Doc

About half that amount should buy it, unless it's something really rare!!

I've got that much in mine right now, considering what I paid for it, hauling expense, new rears, several trips to the JD dealer for repairs.

I won't buy another, this is my last one (i'm 55) and will invest in something smaller or newer next time.

I would want to know exactly what the owner has done & spent on this tractor before buying it, and then consider how much can I spend to keep this tractor running and what can I get if I have to sell it.
