Hydraulic oil for power-trol?

Is it ok for me to use regular hydraulic oil in my power-trol or should I stick with 30 weight? Thanks.

Tye, probably using 30 weight is best, but if you share hydraulic cylinders with a different tractor that uses hydraulic oil you can use hydraulic oil....

Tye, the manual for the Dubuque 2 cyls. calls for 10w non-det. Also the 10w will help the line viberation some in winter. Some folks say they have a hard time finding the straight 10w. Some of the small town parts stores keep it, as it is also used in lots of the old logging equipment. I think some Wal-Mart stores have it also.
