Does anyone know of a mfg'r of a wfe like a Schartz or similar to fit a 2030. The steel on these spindles just can't take a loader, and these bales are only 550#'s.....snapping them off left and right

Ive got three Deeres with loaders and never had a problem with spindles. Check a parts book and I`m kinda sure you will find two different front axle/spindles for your 2030. Two different styles also. Straight/adjustable and fixed/adjustable. Regular duty and heavy duty. My bet is you have a regular duty axle. Industrial axles mite fit and work but if you have that kind of work to accomplish buy an industrial machine.

I've got the heavy duty, but maybe you are just lucky with your spindles, I've broken four, and like I said before, these bales are only 550#'s, no way should they be breaking at all. And to top it all off JD has quit mfg'ing them. At $168 a pop, they should be a money maker for JD. I see that Value-built carries them, maybe they would have better quality steel in theirs

My question would be, how fast are you driving and what type of terrain are you going over? That shouldn't be a problem for the front end with less than 600 pound bales!

I have to agree with gy3020. I can't help trace down your difficulity, but I can say that the engineered WFE strength of the JD 1020 series tractors, which includes your JD 2030, would easily handle the loads your are placing on your machine.
