A couple of questions about a 435 John Deere diesel tractor. I don't see too much talk good or bad about them. Is it because they are so rare or hard to find? are there many owners in Ohio,Pa, WVA. I think one would be a great project.

I saw a 435 sitting at a John Deere dealers. If anyone might be interested....its called Miley Equipment in Emporia, Kansas. I never stopped and looked closely at it, just saw it sitting as I drove by. I'd bet he'd be asking top dollar, they are usually high on things. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll call in there and ask what they want for it

Just back from our Upper Canada Two Cylinder Club show in Drayton. There were 3 model 435's at the show, three more restored ones that just didn't make it out plus a couple of rough ones, all in the club. 4626 made but many were scrapped after the front axles were busted tow starting, after too much ether starting aid or after the ring and pinions were worn out/ruined. There are cures/updates for the starting problems and r&p wear. Prices seem to run between 320's and 330's in equal condition.
