I have a 3020 that has a clutch that will not disengage. This is the third time it has happened in about three weeks. The other two times I started it in gear and drove it around until it somehow started working again. Once it started working it was fine. The clutch doesn't slip or have any other obvious problems when it is working. I looked up into the clutch inspection plate and everything looks normal. The pedal seems to be adjusted correctly. One mechanical friend thought it might be a guide bearing. I'd appreciate any thoughts or helpful hints.

There is a grease fitting on the clutch shaft under the inspection cover. Perhaps this needs some grease?

I have a 3010 that does the same thing if it sits for awhile. I assumed that the clutch was rusting some. I fix mine by starting it in gear, once it starts to move I push in the clutch and slam on the brakes. Mine started after I put a new clutch assembly in it.
