My apologies. I know this is about John Deere Tractors, but I figured that most JD tractor owners, also own JD equipment.

A gentleman is selling his hay equipment for $25,000. He has a John Deere 375 Round Baler, John Deere 337 Square Baler, Vicon CM 2200 Cutter, Vicon 330 Fluffer, John Deere 1065 Hay Wagon, and a John Deere Rake(single). All of the equipment were purchased new(one owner) and kept in a barn. Equipment is about 10-15 years old. They were serviced by a John Deere dealer. The paint still looks new. He will also allow me to bale hay on approx. 300 acres of pasture land and purchase his hay from me.

Well, I looked on the internet and found this.

99 John Deere 375 Round Baler for $9,000
?? John Deere 375 Round Baler for $7,900
?? John Deere 337 Square Baler for $4,200
?? Vicon CM 2200 Cutter for $4,665
?? Vicon 330 Fluffer for $1,500 to $1,950
John Deere 1065 Hay Wagon, didn't find any.
To general for the rake too.

Add up the stuff with prices, Low is $18,265 to a high of $19,815

So, $25,000 is a little high, but it ALL is there. No going and getting all the stuff from here or there.

And he will BUY bales of hay that you make off of HIS property? If you have a tractor to run all this stuff and the time. Go for it. I don't think you can go wrong. But, set a price for the bales before you buy the stuff.
