I am looking for a John Deere 4435 tractor. I believe they were built in Mexico. Any advice would be very helpful, thank you.

Saw one at a tractor pull in western Il a couple years ago . It looked like a light duty 4430 , had lighter wheels , had a 2 post ROPS with a big top on it , it looked bigger than the usual one used on 4430's . It had the 404 engine , turbo but it had the rotary pump on it . Story was that this big Southern Ill dealer somehow brought a bunch up from Mexico and sold them very reasonable compared to 4430's . This one had the 8sp syncro trans . That's about all I remember about it . I was 125 mi from home and didn't know anybody so I didn't want to snoop around too much .

The 4435 mechanically is the same as the Generation II 4430 introduced in the US in 1972. It was assembled in Saltillo, Mexico from Waterloo-sourced components. The main difference is that the Mexican tractors did not have cabs or ROPS as much as the US tractors did back then.
Other interesting things about Mexican JD tractors is that the 2755 (82 horse, turbo) was built in an old IH factory they sold to Deere when they were on the way down and it initially had a Perkins engine(same as Massey, White, Allis). Guess that might give it an identity crisis? Green, red, orange, or silver? Which board would you go to if you had one of these? :-)
just my two cents.
