The fan shaft bearing on my 39B keeps oozing out large amounts of grease. Is there a special grease for the bearing? If not is there a seal that needs replaced?

Brian, it sounds like someone has over greased it.
~That bearing only needs greasing once a year & then only a little. That's why it came with a plug & not grease fitting there.
~The seal is only felt & even if new won't keep the grease in if over greased, it is only a dust/dirt seal.....

Thanks for the information. The somebody is me. I added grease to all the fitting when I restored the tractor. I guess I will keep cleaning it up until it stops.
