Governor Oiling Question(Clooney?)

I was cleaning the governor assembly tonight on my 41' A and noticed something strange. The passage for the oil pipe doesn't have an outlet. I've done a search and found out that the gears are lubicated with oil spray. I only have one passage and it goes to the gauge port. Is it possible that the needed hole wasn't drilled? Or am I missing something obvious? Also, with the stout spring on the magneto bushing, why would the bearing want to turn? It looks like the outer race has been spinning in the housing. The spring looks to be applying pressure to the outer race. I thought that if I needed to drill something out, now would be the time. I've heard Clooney mention a governor spray nozzle. What exactly is this? Thanks.

Ghostrider, look very closely for a passage. I can't believe that governor [bearings] lived this long without oil.
~I haven't ever seen it myself but have heard of an occasional governor not being drilled.
~Every now & then a post will show up either here or Rummy's about no oil hole in the governor.

Well, I took the housing out into the sunlight today. I found the little oil hole. It was clogged up. I was expecting maybe an 1/8" hole. I guess it sprays the oil out in a jet. Thanks for the help. Clooney, need any engineers up there?

I don't meet those specs. I've got the young part. I had a female friend that graduated an aeronatical engineer a year ago. They can write their own ticket anywhere. It's frustrating. Thanks for your help
