I have adjusted the float every which way I can But the fuel still runs out of the carb throat. It will stop if you close the load adjustment all the way. Of course the only times I have had the engine run for just a short burst is when the fuel is coming out. Is the fuel supposed to run out like this? It appears to be bubbling out of the brass tube in the middle of the carb. Is this the Main jet? wHAT SHOULD I DO????
Thanks Haywood Wilson

Haywood, it's possible you have a plugged bowl vent. If that is plugged it will siphon the fuel out of the main jet & as long as it siphons out the float will drop & let more in.
~If that isn't the problem then you have a leaking needle & seat, or a fuel logged float, or a porous casting around the needle & seat well.
~You can pull the float bowl down then out to the side & reconnect the fuel line & watch to see if the float shuts the needle & the fuel flow stops. If it works ok with the float bowl off the carb then suspect the bowl vent....

Haywood, you probably figured it out but I forgot to tell you will have to stick a cork in the bottom hole of the float bowl to test it away from the carb.....

I have a new float, Where is the bowl vent? The seat is shutting off.

Haywood, there will be a drilled hole in the intake [choke] side of the carb bore that extends to the idle system & tee's into a baffled vent in a recess in the top of the bowl area. They usually plug at the baffle in the top of the bowl area or in the long passage from the choke area.
~Caution, don't use anything that will enlarge the vent restriction as that will adversely effect carb metering as the vent is calibrated to control bowl pressure.
