My operator's manual says 2 1/2, 3 1/2, and 5 3/4 MPH for the 3 gears. And it says "Road speed 7 1/2 MPH at 1800 RPM by using foot control."

Third gear is high on an H, right? It sticks in my mind that top speed is around 7.5 mph. I think I remember reading something about being able to increase engine speed from 1540 to around 1800 for faster transport speeds in high gear, and there might have been some sort of a foot throttle to do that? - it's been a while since I read it. That would have been in the Styled Letter Series book by J.R. Hobbs.

G-Man, You got it right. I just looked in my owners manual. That's what it says, 7 1/2 mph @ 1800 rpm using the foot control.
Catch ya' later
