I was using the 3pt bale spike last night to move some bales around and I think I tore the cable that controls the 3pt. The lever was moving kind of hard lately and last night I picked a bale up and when I went to put it down the 3pt would not move and then handle moved quite easily. It was always harder to get down than up, hoping it was just the cable?? Did not have a chance to look at it last night, but how big of a job is it to change the cable? I have only had the tractor for a few months and it sat for a year or so before I got it. I suppose it could be a sticky valve, but I would not think that would cause the lever to move easily that quick. And and all suggessions and help is appreciated and thanks in advance.

not a hard job, take the lower dash door off and take the nut off the cable, and loosen the cable clamp, you will have to take the right side tin work off under the seat and you will see how the cable hooks up to the rockshaft control, there are usally some cable hold downs underneath the platform you;ll have to loosen, you;ll be supprised how free the new cable works once you have installed it.
